A training program for pilots to acquire instructor rating for instrument flights IRI (A)
The aim of the course is to train candidates on a professional level corresponding to the requirements of qualification class: instructor for IFR IRI (A).
Requirements for the training:
Кандидатът за придобиване на сертификат за IRI(A) трябва да отговаря на следните предварителни условия (FCL.915.IRI):
- have at least 800 hours of flight time under IFR, of which at least 400 hours of aircraft
- in case of applying for IRI (A) multi-engine aircraft to meet the requirements of FCL.915.CRI (a) - 500 hours of flight time as a pilot and 30 hours as PIC on the class or type of airplane.
The training course for the IRI (A) includes at least:
- 25 hours of teaching and learning;
- 10 hours of technical training, including revision of theoretical knowledge of IFR, preparation of lesson plans and the development of skills for training;
- At least 10 hours of flight training. In the case of candidates who have a certificate of FI (A), these hours are reduced to 5.
The flight training is conducted by a flight instructor FI (A), who has:
- completed at least 500 hours of flight training (FCL.905.FI (s))
- passed an assessment of competence in accordance with FCL.935 for airplanes
