A training program for instructors to acquire a class for single pilot CRI (A)
The aim of the course is to give adequate training of candidates for teaching theory of flight and synthetic flight training to be able to train for a class / type on each single-engine or twin-engine single-pilot airplane for which the applicant is qualified.
Requirements for the training:
The candidate for a certificate of CRI (A) must have at least:
- For multi-engine airplanes: 500 hours of flight time as a pilot; 30 hours as PIC on the class or type of airplane.
- For single-engine airplanes: 300 hours of flight time as a pilot; 30 hours as PIC on the class or type of airplane
The training course for the CRI (A) includes at least:
- 25 hours of teaching and learning;
- 10 hours of technical training, including revision of technical knowledge, preparation of lesson plans and development of skills training in the classroom / simulator;
- 5 hours of flight instruction in multi-engine airplanes, or 3 hours of flight instruction on single-engine airplanes conducted by the FI (A), qualified in accordance with FCL.905.FI.
After successful completion of the flight program the applicant takes a flight test flight examiner".
