You can have your trial lesson on a new modern aircraft, built by the Italian company Tecnam and under the supervision of a professional pilot. At this first flying experience, you will understand weather flying is just a fancy for you or it gives you something new and brings real satisfaction.

If so, you have the possibility to start your training for a PPL /SA/ (MTOW 750 kg).

You have to be at least 18 years old, have secondary education and be in normal physical and mental health. First of all you will have a medical exam in the specialized clinic at Sofia Airport. Then comes the theory, which comprises of 60 hours lecturing material.

After you have passed the medical exam and finished with the theory, you will start your flight training. A minimum of 25 flying hours is required following a program approved by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. During the flight training you will gradually learn and gain experience for safe take-off and landing, route flights, landing at different airports etc.

Once you have successfully accomplished your flight training, you earn your Private Pilot License /SA/ by passing theoretical and flying tests. Thus you have the opportunity to possess and fly your own plane, hire an aircraft and make non-commercial flights.
