Dolna Banya Airport is the first private airport in Bulgaria, fully licensed under the requirements of Civil Aviation Authority. It is situated in the upper Maritza river valley, in the middle of the road between the towns of Dolna Banya and Kostenets. The whole area is perfect for flying and famous for its mineral springs and forest reserves. The airport is just 65 km. away from the two biggest Bulgarian cities – Sofia /the Capital of Bulgaria/ and Plovdiv. Next to the airport is the world famous ski resort Borovetz. You can have your trial lesson on a new modern aircraft, built by the Italian company Tecnam and under the supervision of a professional pilot. At this first flying experience, you will understand weather flying is just a fancy for you or it gives you something new and brings real satisfaction.
If so, you have the possibility to start your training for a Private Pilot License /SA/ (Maximum Take-Off Weight 750 kg).
